Something needs to be done about this
It happens every year. Christmas Day comes around and then, like magic, poof, it seems like it goes away.
For some reason it's over. Gone, done with it. Some people even take down their decorations, many move on to the next thing.
Do they forget that we are still in the midst of the 12 Days of Christmas?
No more holiday music in the radio, when we really need it most! Now that the frenzy is over (or almost) we can relax and enjoy ourselves.
Since the beginning of December -- no, since before Thanksgiving -- there is this buildup and then all of a sudden the rug is pull from under us.
I am sorry, but I feel a void.
I want to hear the jingle bells ringing.
I know there is New Year's .... but ...
Anyway, someone needs to do something.
Someone needs to send someone a memo:
Christmas is not done until after ... hmmm, lets see, mid January, maybe. Well, at least until Epiphany. Please.
It is the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" after all.
